Suggestions for a butterfly tattoo?

Resolved Question

Suggestions for a butterfly tattoo?

i'm wanting to get a butterfly tattoo done soon and would like some advise on colours and designs. I want it on the base of my back, to be tastefull, quite small with vibrant colours and unusual. I've already got three tattoos, one on my shoulder of a chinese symbol with an ice-blue back drop, and two running down my spine of a seahorse with my daughter's name underneath and of another chinese symbol with my son's name . I dont want my husband's name tattoo'd as i dont want to tempt fate.you never know what's round the corner. Anyone have nice looking botterfly's and could they share pics?

  • My Suggestion---------Don't Do It!
  • i don't think you should ask others for advice on tattoos or copy another person's design. i believe since a tattoo is something that will be on your body the rest of your life it should really mean something to you and you can't get that sort of significance from something you copied that looked cool or pretty or whatever. i suggest you think about why you want that particular tattoo, how it relates to your life and what you can to to personalize it in order to symbolize the importance. talk to a tattoo artist where you plan on getting it done at, they will help you. plus no one will ever have the same tattoo as you!
