Would mixing sugar/salt with your daily cleanser exfoliate?

If not, would applying the cleanser and rinsing it off with a wash cloth exfoliate?

yes that's actually what i do too, but i use sugar w. a dab of olive oil or apricot oil instead and use the cleanser afterwards.

using a washcloth helps deep clean, but doesnt do much to slough off the dead skin.
