A question about getting a tattoo...?

Resolved Question

A question about getting a tattoo...?

Ok so my friend is on about getting a tattoo but she's only 15. I have one and I'm 16, so she's asked me if I could take her to get hers done. The thing is the only reason I think they allowed me to get mine done is because I had a parent present, but her mom said she can get one when she's 18 but she doesn't wanna wait.

So she's asked me if me and my mom could go with her and pretend that my mom is her mom, lol. But my mom's worried because she hasn't even told her mom that shes getting one, and I'm not sure if her mom will allow it, so my mom could get into trouble.

I really don't know what to do, would it be ok if she told her mom that she went on her own? Then my mom wouldn't get into trouble?

Additional Details

I don't think her mom would sue because her brother got one at 15 and her mom just accepted it.

i wouldn't do it.
you can never guarantee that she will keep her mouth shut. (most girls can't lol)
but seriously, her mom could sue your mom for taking her to get it done, and your mom could get into real legal trouble.
so i wouldn't risk it, no matter how good a friend you think she is.

  • Your mom will get in serious trouble if she pretends to be this other girl's mother and the girl goes and gets an infection or worse from her tattoo. This other girl's real mother could press charges for "injury to child" on your mother and you and any siblings you have could be taken away. The whole situation stinks of a BAD IDEA. If your friend can't wait, let her find some other sucker to take down with her. Don't let your mom get into trouble just because some stupid friend of yours can't wait to get a tattoo.
  • If i were you, i would not do it.
your mom could get in serious trouble!
    her mom possibly too.

you see, your friends mom will probably get super mad once she finds out, and if she says she went on her own then she will probably go up the tattoo shop and ask, then theyll say she did have a parent.

plus 15 is a little young, for many reasons
  • no dont be silly because then your mates mum can try suing the tattoo place because they done a tattoo on a 15 year old without parental consent, they would then sue your mum to cover for their costs!!!! just say your mum can't make it because shes busy or she can't be bothered or just tell your friend the truth...

  • don't do it! she needs to wait until she's 18.
if she wants one so bad, she can draw on herself with permanent marker everyday. I actually know someone who did that.
  • dont because you and her will get in trouble....make her wait until she old enough. she's not going to die without it
  • Mk.. why would your mother even consider doing this? Not only could she get into A LOT of trouble, it is extremely irresponsible and stupid. If your friend's parent's said to wait until 18 then that is what he or she should do! Did you think about the possible consequences? Apart from the fact your mother is likely to get into trouble, what if your friend's parent's find out who brought them to get that tattoo? What if they think you are a bad influence and don't allow you to be friend's anymore? Why risk it for some ink. All that being said, no one should be getting a tattoo at 15-16.. You're changing too much at that age; your opinions, your morals.. etc.. What you may think is cool or even meaningful at 15 will likely change as you get older.
