Wrist tattoo do you have one?

Resolved Question

Wrist tattoo do you have one?

Hi all, I am getting my first tattoo next week, I want my sons name Logan on my wrist. I have found the style I want, but I also want a small symbol of some kind at the side of his name any ideas? plus if you have had one how badly does it hurt. Should i ask if they use new needles with each person and how much do you think it would be?

tattooist should ALWAYS use new needles for every client and should show you the needle in the packet, the expiry date on the packet and open it in front of you.

It doesn't hurt half as much as you'd imagine on your wrist, its a bit uncomfy but its fine, and i expected lots of blood over my veins, but there was hardly any at all. Shop around, make sure your confident with the tattooist you choose, check out their work, ask people for recommendations.

  • Hi, every tattoo hurts to a degree depending upon your pain threshold. I have a large one on my shoulder blade which hurt a lot as it went across the bone, the one on my lower back I hardly felt. It is down to how much fat there is in the area. More fat- less pain seems to be the way it goes. All tattooists will use a new needle for every person, they have too for health and safety. If they don't, don't get it done!, this is taken into their costs when charging. It will be around £60 - 100.00 again depending on your tattooist. Again check their portfolio and find out how good they are, you have to live with this for the rest of your life so make sure they can do a good job with it. If you have a job check with your employeer that they will be happy with it as it will be difficult to hide.
    Good luck
  • i would go with just the name. if you squeeze a symbol there too everything will have to be very small, which means years down it will start to come together and look iffy.

It shouldnt hurt you too much, depends on your tolerance to pain

That should be assumed, but if the place looks like they use used needle, ask, or go somewhere else!
  • Depending on how old your son is. ask him for a symbol that means something to him.
IF you can't do this his star sign or chinese calendar animal.

no you should ask if they use new needles. You should DEMAND they use new needles.

And as for price, we can't say. for details on font size amount of ink etc is missing.

i don't have a wrist tattoo. But it shouldn't hurt merely tickle.
  • If you have a job, make sure its okay with the people you work for to have it showing, if you cant hide it, as some places won't accept it.

But as for the symbol next to your son's name, perhaps think about having his zodiac symbol on your wrist.

The zodiac symbols are here, for ideas: http://www.psychicguild.com/horoscopes_e…

    Hope I helped :)
  • watch them prep.they should always open a new needle packet on every customer.and the price depends on the artist and how big the tattoo is
  • you've had i child, it's no way near as painful as that. i have to use new needles and probably about £20
