Can you have a bath after waxing your legs?

Resolved Question

Can you have a bath after waxing your legs?

i heard its not good for the legs if you have a bath straight after waxing your legs...(cold wax strips)...is that true?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

yes it is okay if you have a hot bath after waxing your legs
some could argue it is actually good for you
this is because when you wax your legs you pause tightens under the stress
and the hot steam from the bath opens the pause again and relaxes your muscles
if you have any other questions please let me know

  • no you shouldn't because it hurts and it stresses the legs
actually you should wait about 24 hrs before you bath or go to swim
i asked the beautician. even cold wax strips
you should bath before waxing actually it opens the pores and it will be easier to wax
sometimes i wax my legs and when i have a shower the day after it still stings a little
  • It never stings me if I have waxed my legs that day and I have extremely sensitive skin. I can only use QV and a special wax my beautician uses.

If you had a shower IMMEDIATELY after waxing it might sting but after 5 or so minutes it doesn't hurt me.
  • You can, it's fine, it just stings abit. I'd wait a little while - about an hour. x
