What is the average uk bra size?

I just read a question and one of the answers said that 32e is now the average british bra size,is that right?

Also do you think a 34 band size,on a bra, is big?because a few people on this question seem to think it is and id just like other peoples opinion

It's 36C. It used to be 34B, but women have gradually got bigger over time, and now the average is 36C, I promise you. If you think about it, which do you see more of in shops? 36Cs or 32Es? If 32Es were the most popular, they would stock more, it's as simple as that. I'm a UK size 8-10 and I wear a 34B, which is pretty average for a girl my age and my size. 34 as a band size is the one below the average, it's one of the more popular band sizes, and is certainly not big.
I'm gonna take a guess and say most men on here have no idea what they're talking about :)

• I think 36C. The average British woman is about size 14/16 which would indicate an average band bigger than 34.
• in my opinion that's REALLY BIG!
